Colchester Recreation Complex (RecPlex): 215 Old Hebron Rd. Air Line Trail State Park: In Colchester, parking near Exit 16 off Rt. 2, on Bull Hill Rd., at Salmon River (spans 11 towns, scenic bike & walking trails). More info. at www.ct.gov/deep or (860) 295-9523. The Colchester Spu (town-owned leg of trail) extends from main trail & can be accessed near 187 Lebanon Rd.

Colchester School Grounds: Playgrounds & sports fields at all town schools are available to the public only during non-school hours.

Town Green: At intersection of Norwich Ave. & Main St., the green is host to many town events. A gazebo and softball field are also located here. More info. at www.colchesterct.gov or (860) 537-7297.
