Connecticut 2-1-1 is your one-stop connection to the local services you need, including utility assistance, food, housing, child care, after school programs, elder care, crisis intervention and much more. The office of United Community & Family Services (UCFS) in Colchester provides  counseling and therapy for help in a wide range areas, such as emotional and behavioral problems, anxiety and depression, parenting education, autism, and much more.  They also offer groups covering topics like children's social skills, children's/adolescent medication management, and the ABC's of parenting, to name a few.   Click here to see their brochure.  For information on all of the services and groups available call (860 537-7676 or stop by the Colchester office at 212 Upton Rd. Thames Valley Council for Community Action, Inc. TVCCA) is a non-profit Community Action Agency incorporated in 1965 and recocgnized as a community leader and partner in advocating  for and meeting the needs of the region's econimically and otherwise disadvataged citizens.  For information on how they can help in areas such as energy assistance, education, employment, food & nutrition, senior programs, housing, and financial services visit www.tvcca.org or call 860-889-1365.

HUSKY Health offers coverage to eligible children, parents, relative caregivers, elders, individuals with disabilities, adults without minor children, and pregnant women.  The HUSKY Health program offers a comprehensive health care benefit package, including preventive care, primary care and specialist visits, hospital care, behavioral health services, dental services, and prescription medications.  For information about eligibility guidelines and applying, please follow this link for How to Qualify.

Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center, Inc. (CPAC) is a statewide nonprofit organization that offers information and support to families of children with any disability or chronic illness, age birth through 26. Vist www.cpacinc.org for more information.
