Meet Our Facilitators!
I have been working at C3 for 8 years. I facilitate Joyful Noise groups, parent workshops & professional development workshops for families and providers in our community. I have a passion for children and the adults who have the very big and sometimes isolating job of caring for them. It is my mission to continue to provide programming and support to those influencing, raising and loving our children the best I can. Prior to working for C3, I was a Special Education teacher and a counselor to children and families. I am a mother of two awesome girls, ages 19 and 25 years. It is my role as a mom that has influenced me the most. I continue to be humbled by this difficult and rewarding job of parenting. I believe that connecting with others and sharing our stories help restore our humanness and compassion for ourselves. How we feel about ourselves and the support that we have, has direct influence on our ability to parent the way we want to. I am so looking forward to connecting with you.
I love being a part of C3. C3 has been an amazing source of support , resources, and personal connections for me. I feel extremely lucky to have the opportunity to provide similar experiences for others. I have taken advantage of all that was offered and quickly knew I wanted to be part of the team providing support for others. As a certified teacher, I have always been very passionate about my students, their families, and their well being. As a mother to two amazing children, I quickly understood the saying “it takes a village”. I look forward to being part of your village in any way!
I have been teaching Joyful Noise since April of 2019. I moved to Colchester in 2012 and the following year I had my first son who is now 7. Being new to Colchester and a new mom was very overwhelming, but I learned about C3 through a neighbor and I got my son signed up for a class shortly after. The C3 program has helped me create a network of Colchester families that has made our family feel at home here. Through the years I have taken many classes including circle of security, conscious discipline, people empowering people and FLIP. These classes have given me so many tools and insight on parenting and the advice and techniques I have learned will live with me forever.
In my early 20s, I taught swimming lessons on the beaches of Long Island and loved the ability to connect and watch each child progress with their skills. While I have a Bachelor's Degree in business, I find working with children and seeing them grow and learn so rewarding. In my spare time, I love heading to Long Island to see my family, spending time at the beach and enjoy watching my two boys Adam and Austin explore the world. I look forward to connecting with you and your family as we all navigate parenthood.
